Cisco Tries Video Desktop Hardware Again

Cisco Systems Inc. seems to think the world needs another piece of hardware on the desktop it has launched two new products that offer video conferencing tools, audio and collaboration through a specially designed device with Android OS Google Inc. art system.

DX70 and DX80 are the independent and integrated appliances including a monitor, speakers  microphones camera, phone functionality and collaboration tools.Products, flanked by a telephone and room service video conferencing cloud, part of the Cisco effort to be market leader in collaboration and business video communications.

The DX70 DX80 and have been designed from scratch to provide the best collaborative experience for each job in a company, said Rowan Trollope senior vice president and general manager of Cisco's Collaboration Technology Group. They are truly amazing devices. In combination with the collaboration service meeting room, users can have their own private meeting long to work with anyone on any device at any time.

Only Cisco can combine this impressive hardware , great software and powerful network to provide anyone with their own dedicated collaboration in the cloud and in your office space to call their own.The DX80 has a 24-inch screen and background noise cancellation technology and starts at $ 2000; the DX70 starts at $ 1000 and has a smaller screen.Cisco believes that the devices replace other PC and mobile devices used by employees desktop video collaboration devices.

If all this sounds familiar,it should. DX70 and DX80 are the reminiscent of the Cisco Cius failed and Umi consumer video conferencing tablet.Cius is the cornerstone of a video communication system that combines the Android tablet with an IP phone and the Cisco WebEx software that has video audio and collaboration of information exchange. It differs from DX70 and DX80 that could engage and disengage the telephone base during conversations.

Cisco Cius suspended in 2012 after two years of dismal sales. For all device features and integration with other services from Cisco and network resources, it just was not enough to force businesses and users to adopt another device.Videoconferencing and collaboration has always been seen as an opportunity for growth.Providers such as Cisco pass4sure 640-822 , Avaya and Polycom Audio Inc. Microsoft Corp.LifeSize Blue Jean have been developed that offer realistic video presence that reduce operating costs and high definition video. On paper, the video makes sense.Unfortunately for these providers of high-end technologies as consumer-grade Skype turned out to be good enough for the needs of even the largest businesses.

Work with integrated videoconferencing systems is the desire of users for portability and reduced hardware .The fastest growing segment of smartphones are devices with screens of more than 5 centimeters commonly known as phablets. The fastest growing segment of the tablet devices with screens of 7-8 inches. Users do not want another device, who want portability. Even their complementary Cisco supports DX70, 640-461 dumps and DX80 devices are Product pictures shown are not replacements for desktops and traditional notebooks.

Compressed reasonable business with an integrated camera , microphone and speakers, as well as access to applications and cloud services cost between $ 500 and $ 1000.DX70 and DX80 is the latest attempt to wring Cisco acquisition of Tandberg value, the Norwegian supplier of communications technology, he bought in 2010 for $ 3.3 billion.Cisco and do something with his collection of technologies telepresence and video; report a decrease of 12 percent in its collaboration with the company 's third fiscal quarter.
